The latest “thing” seems to be people claiming that Jared Lee Loughner (the guy who shot Gabrielle Giffords) and James Holmes (the Batman shooter) were registered Democrats.
I’ve seen this popping up on the internet and for the record:
Jared Lee Loughner was a registered independent.
James Holmes may not even be registered to vote.
I love how these folks will twist the truth around to fit some narrative they have.
